Cancellation Policy

How CC Advice guidance session bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled.

This Cancellation Policy explains how bookings for CC Advice guidance sessions - including second-opinion sessions, pathway mapping consultations and annual career check-ups arranged through our contact desk - can be cancelled, rescheduled or transferred, and what happens if a session cannot proceed. CC Advice is part of Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238) and CAQA Groups, and nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

What this policy covers

This policy covers guidance sessions requested through this website's contact form, by email or by phone. It applies to students, career changers, parents and supporters, and advisers who book time with the CC Advice desk. It does not cover services delivered by other Career Calling or CAQA Groups brands - those services carry their own terms, which are linked from their own websites.

No payments are taken through this website

CC Advice does not sell products, take booking fees or process payments through this website. There is no checkout, store or online payment facility on any page, which means there are no website transactions to refund. Because of this, this policy focuses on the practical side of cancelling or moving a booked guidance session rather than on refund processing. If you ever believe you have been charged in connection with this website, contact us immediately so we can investigate.

Cancelling or rescheduling a session

You can cancel or reschedule a booked session at any time by emailing info@caqa.com.au, calling 1800 266 160 or replying to your booking confirmation. We ask for at least two business days' notice where possible, so the time can be offered to someone else. Sessions can usually be moved to a new time in the same week; if you need to postpone indefinitely, we will hold your notes so a future session can pick up where you left off.

If you miss a session

If you do not attend a scheduled session and have not told us beforehand, we will contact you once to offer a replacement time. Repeated non-attendance may mean we ask you to re-request a booking through the contact desk rather than holding recurring times for you. We understand that career decisions often happen alongside work, study and family commitments, so let us know what scheduling actually works for you and we will fit around it where we can.

If we need to cancel

Occasionally we may need to cancel or move a session - for example if an adviser is unavailable or a technical issue prevents an online session from running. If that happens we will tell you as early as possible and offer the next available time that suits you. If we cannot reschedule within a reasonable period, we will say so plainly rather than leave you waiting.

Paid engagements agreed off this website

Where you later enter a paid engagement with Career Calling International Pty Ltd - for example an extended guidance program scoped after an initial conversation - the cancellation and refund position for that engagement is set out in its own written agreement before any payment is made. That agreement, together with the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, governs cancellation of paid work. This website policy does not create or replace refund terms for such engagements.

Questions and complaints

If you have questions about this policy, or if you believe a cancellation has been handled poorly, email info@caqa.com.au, call 1800 266 160 or use our contact page. Complaints are handled under our Complaints and Feedback policy, and we treat cancellation-related complaints with the same seriousness as any other service issue.
